These photos were taken during a trip to Montreal to visit a friend in 2007. The trip ended up leaving some very bad memories and I had not looked at these photos in while because of these memories.
Viewing them now in the slide show reminded me of the time I spent alone wandering around old Montreal taking photos and the great feeling it left me with in spite of what had occurred. I also remembered that I felt at the time that I spent the several hours trying to look at Montreal in a new way with the idea that there needed to be at least one good memory out of a visit that otherwise had very little to redeem itself.
